Prop F holds corporations like Airbnb accountable by limiting ‘hosting platforms’ to listing only units that are properly registered with the City, so the city can enforce the law. It’s not rocket science. We’re just trying to reasonably regulate one of the most vital assets – housing – that the city has in the face of a wealthy tech industry that wants to commodify absolutely everything without regard for who it hurts along the way.
