Wellington craft beer bars are as good as or better than Bay Area craft beer bars, Beer Revolution in Oakland is the only decider.

Wellington, NZ
at Pukaha Mount Bruce, National Wildlife Centre. A white kiwi and a… non-white kiwi. Kinda useless photos, they are nocturnal and don’t like to hang out anywhere but in the dark (room).

3, 5, and 6 were ok, a lot like Yuengling or Saranac’s line-up. I forget how crazy the U.S. Craft beer scene is, and the west coast in particular.

Tui Brewery: Yuengling in any color you like, average 4%, including the one they call an east India pale ale.
ABSOLUT CLICK FACTORY.
(Duty free in Sydney).
Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland, and one picture of sheep as we drove away from the Shire, from the Lord of the Rings (which we didn’t actually bother to see on account of it requiring a 2 hour tour). For reference: all liquids (except the sheep) in these photos are boiling or near boiling.

For scale: the crackly stuff on the left of the pond are super unreal sulfur crystals the size of toasters.

Hella Pikesville (made in Bardstown, KY, been there too) rye hooch in that there New Zealand 'hon.
Queenhavers: curious gamehavers.

Michael Graham Elizabeth Funderburk the danged thing won’t turn on!

sometimes flickr sends the title, sometimes it doesn’t. That’s a bobcat walking around Rodeo Lagoon. Bobcat tails (not pictured) are lollers.

Best post-it notes ever.

Flick!

Made possible by getting my filtering gear out and sanitized, readying two kegs for the juggling act, carrying an umbrella at all times, and fate.

Had half an ounce of German Pearle in the fridge left over from a previous batch so they went in the bag too.

Kegging an Imperial Stout that finished at ~9.5%. I haven’t brewed in the two months since this batch. January plans: an IPA with Ben Miller’s hops.
New location in an office park with a canning machine, same great stuff.

This Joshua Tree warp level has people that deliver cheeseburgers on roller skates. The closest In and Out is a five mile drive away. 😦

I prefer the term “corporate cant”. There is too much doublespeak in it to classify as a proper jargon.

Welp, the city made all the tech companies change where their shuttle stops are. Evernote now has one pretty much right in front of my apartment at the 33 stop.
