  1. Al Green at Stern Grove

We won lottery tickets for the last Stern Grove show of season to see Al Green. As usual, the bike valet was excellent. Hitting sunshine on the wiggle at Duboce Park after a few hours in the fog was so, so nice.

  2. Grabtown Gulch to Purisima Creek

We had an opportunity to go on a hike without the seven year old so we biased for elevation that he would not enjoy. It was a beautiful day to be in the shade of a northern California redwood forest along a creek.

  3. Slide Ranch camping weekend

We camped Friday and Saturday night at the excellent Slide Ranch at Muir Beach. Camp is a short hike from a lot to a meadow west of US 1, and from there, it’s a short hike to tide pools and the Pacific Ocean. We saw rabbits, fox, raccoons, lizards, brown pelicans, and turkey vultures.
