It was fun how everyone rallied around Bradbury’s “There Will Come Soft Rains" yesterday. Someone cool in chat suggested Henry Kuttner and C. L. Moore’s “Vintage Season” ( https://www.fadedpage.com/showbook.php?pid=20220847) as another great story-about-a-house and I enjoyed it last night.

The 1992 American film Timescape, also titled Grand Tour: Disaster in Time, was loosely based on Vintage Season, though with a happy ending substituted for the somber conclusion of Catherine L. Neither, unfortunately, are quite old enough to be able to share directly.
