Lovely bit of dark tower lore

Michael Whelan (@MichaelWhelan@mastodon.art)Attached: 2 images The over colored sky has a hallucinatory quality which is evocative of the dreamlike feeling of the story. I confess that I wore a similar robe for much of the time I was painting this scene. https://www.michaelwhelan.com/galleries/gunslinger-man-in-black/ 2/2Mastodon.ART

Like lots of people I suppose, I think of who I was and what I posted more than a year or two ago to be, on average, a little cringe. More than five years old? A little embarassing. Ten or more years old? A little shameful. On average, of course. So it goes.

In spite of all that, or in order to grow, I've horded my embarassments from various platforms over the years and present them here for your avoidance. This is not a place of honor, and so on.
