Pizza Slow, Mastodon post from March 11, 2023, 110007172027806717

Made a 16" NY-style pizza last night in the Ooni

it looks a lot better than it was!

Large, round peperoni pizza home-fired in a gas ooni koda, well leopard spotted mozza, cupped pepperonis, perfectly charred and shaped crust (ok, the bit around 2 o’clock around is actually burned)under baked bottom on account of experimenting w/ both a pizza-ring and a lower (~550F) launch temperature while fucking up and using too much cheese and sauce — Figure 1. Like lots of people I suppose, I think of who I was and what I posted more than a year or two ago to be, on average, a little cringe. More than five years old? A little embarassing. Ten or more years old? A little shameful. On average, of course. So it goes.

In spite of all that, or in order to grow, I've horded my embarassments from various platforms over the years and present them here for your avoidance. This is not a place of honor, and so on.
