This month the one year old has mastered saying “shh!”, “no-no-no-no-no”, and pretending to snore like I do, as in:

“Be quiet please, Daddy’s sleeping.”

“No-no-no!, [snores, laughs, holds one finger to his mouth], shh! shh! No-no-no-no!”

Like lots of people I suppose, I think of who I was and what I posted more than a year or two ago to be, on average, a little cringe. More than five years old? A little embarassing. Ten or more years old? A little shameful. On average, of course. So it goes.
