I do fuck-all, relatively, but a lot of seemingly well-meaning political pragmatist centrists come off like a pro-wrestling script-writer’s middle-management, specifically focused on the Nielsen numbers in a quarterly self-eval, hoping to impress a writer of another genre.

Do you care about the wrestling? No. Do you care about the script? Not as such. Do you care about the numbers? Means to an end. Do you care about the eval? Only if it gets me a raise. Why all of this then? To prove that I’m a dramatist! I’m a serious person!
