Headache fun!
Bullshit indeed. Couldn’t agree more.
I have ranted about information warfare by corporations as it affects the individual.
This is much larger scale and much closer to the bone. So very very drastically so.
The worst seems to have been from 2 to 6 this morning. [jamesbrown]Got a cold sweat!![/jamesbrown]. Ibuprofen and work today. Excelllent.
UPDATE: Well that sucked. I took off sick tomorrow, which as a consultant means I get to hold to my prior engagements from home and take phone support calls in bed. Damn phones.

Read it with Tofu. Or do this with htmldoc on a unix machine. Or uh, use cat or echo or type and speed read it on the command line. Mail it to someone else and ask them to read it allowed to you over the phone. Use the text-to-speach engine on your PC to make have it read back to you by a text-to-speach-engine. Put it on a PDA. Use cat, less, mail, and wait in a cron job and have it SMS’d to your mobile phone line by line. Print it.
(can you tell I like plain text?)
Now that the scare is over:
Amanda woke up Tuesday morning around 4 with chest pains, left arm hurting, etc. Around 5 we decided to see try the emergency room. I left around 7:30 assuming she’d be released and home by mid-day.
I got home to find out that she was being transfered to Adventist in Tacoma Park after an overnight for a catheter procedure whereby a video camera looks at her heart from the inside to make sure everything is OK. Blood tests were showing elevated levels of cardio-enzymes; I’m told this indicates that the heart is under stress… or something.
Lots of stress and unknowns later, she emerged from the procedure A-OK and is at my place, bed-ridden for the next 4 or 5 days. Do stop by if you have the time.
Those of you left in the dark – no hard feelings, we didn’t want to scare anyone but in hindsight probably would have spread the word a bit more.
I would have liked to see more on the Father Callahan given his roll the series. The novel was the story of an addict priest with a faith problem, the movie is a vampire thriller. Both are good.
The cinematic treatment I recall was heavily focused on the boy and the priest – this longer format allows for an equal look at all of the major players. I’m two and a half hours into it right now and it’s not half over. If you have the time, check it out.
UPDATE: Just finnished it. 4 hours of my Sunday and it was ruined in the last 10 minutes. Weak ending, Very weak. – While I’m complaining, can we have a thriller movie that doesn’t end with Paint it Black or Sympathy for the Devil?

Why would anyone want a translucent bag?
I’m moving to DC. Assuming the credit check goes through…
I timed a morning commute yesterday from the new digs and made it in 30 minutes – down from the current 70 and my clients are even closer than that.
“Here, let me turn the light on for you!” isn’t helpful. I’m fully aware of the invention and mastered operation of the switches years ago. I’m getting much better guessing where the wallplate is and knew where that one was.
Now I have to thank you for being annoying.
Thanks.
