1. This lumber is from 1915. When I make decorative cat scratching posts with the remainders, somewhere, a lumberjack will roll in his grave.

2. I’ve been playing carpenter with nothing but a circular saw, a hammer, a chisel, and a pile of OD rough hewn hickory all afternoon.
