2. Death Vally was a Star Wars filming location, go figure. Badwater at 99F, 10AM, 282 feet below sea level, Golden Canyon (where R2D2 was caught by Jawas) and Dante’s View at 73F, 5k feet looking down onto Badwater (and where long shots of Mos Eisley were taken).

4. Hiked the narrows at Zion, amazing! Zion, Bryce, and a few more parks around here are absolutely worth the road trip to Utah.
