the first time I got a boss to double my comp at the same job—an exempt computer job with an artificially low base entry-level comp, not like, a real job job normal people can easily get—in less than a year by making hell of demands, I immediately repeated the same trick again on principle, and was on the way to repeating it a third time furious about it when I quit that job
